Chain Driven (CDLR) Live Roller Conveyor
Sometimes referred to as a pallet conveyor. The chain drives the sprockets on the load rollers which in turn drives a chain and the sprocket on the next roller, transmitting the same amount of power to each roller insuring a smooth, even ride. Chain driven conveyors are typically used to transport heavier loads at controlled speeds. Another advantage is they can transport both hot and cold loads that could damage other types of conveyors. They also resist contamination by grease and other particulate matter and can tolerate uneven pallet bottoms.
