Enclosed Track cranes(also referred to as "Tool Rail") are lower capacity cranes and are designed so the carrier wheels and electrification are "enclosed" inside the track, offering protection against dirt, dust and debris from wearing the track, wheels and end trucks with use. Not only are they economical, they are a safe, productive, ergonomic solution to lower capacity needs.
Enclosed track cranes can be ceiling mounted and are available in Aluminum or Steel construction. By using straight rail, curves, switches and interlocks (transfers) monorail cranes can be utilized throughout a facility and integrated with other workstation cranes to provide a total system. They can be sold in pre-engineered kits and are easily installed.
